Scholarships Available

The American Indian College Fund provides scholarship support directly to each tribal college annually. We also administer several scholarship programs offered to American Indian students attending both tribal colleges and selected mainstream universities as well.

Tribal College Scholarship Program
The tribal colleges and universities, rather than the American Indian College Fund, determine student eligibility and awards for the tribal college scholarship program. If you are a tribal college student, and are interested in applying for this program, click here.

For more information on the tribal college scholarship program, please contact your financial aid office or contact Bridget Skenadore at 800-776-3863.

Designated Scholarships
We are no longer accepting applications for the 2008-2009 academic year for DESIGNATED SCHOLARSHIPS. All students that have applied for the DESIGNATED SCHOLARSHIPS will be notified via U.S. Mail by the beginning of September. Please visit our website again in late January to apply for DESIGNATED SCHOLARSHIPS for the 2009-2010 Academic Year.

For more information on the designated scholarship opportunities, please contact Debra Reed at 800-776-3863.

Other Scholarship Opportunities
In addition to our scholarships, you'll find more resources here.

Each scholarship awarded to a tribal college student through the American Indian College Fund can mean the difference between receiving a college degree or dropping out.

The Fund relies upon the generosity of its supporters to help us provide approximately 5,000 scholarships annually to deserving American Indian students.
